マドリード・アトーチャ駅から列車でジブラルタル海峡に面するアルヘシラスへ。
更にフェリーでモロッコのタンジェへ。

14:05	アルヘシラス着 Arrival at Algeciras	10-15分遅れ Delayed by 10-15 minutes
16:20	ジブラルタル海峡をフェリーで渡って、アフリカへ。 Departure by ferry boat	定刻15:00のBonansa号。実際の乗船は15時20分頃、出航は16時20分頃。トレーラー多数の積み込みに時間がかかった。E23.30(Tourist A) By "Bonansa". The scheduled departure was 15:00. 17:40	モロッコのタンジェ着 Arrival at Tangier	税関検査は下船口で簡単。帰路のマドリードまでの航空券を確保しようと、イベリア航空事務所を目指すが、閉鎖されていた。走り回ったタクシー合計70DH。 Hotel Continentalにチェックイン。予約なし。朝食付284DH。現金のみ。立地は最高。テラス、レストラン、廊下、階段など、元一流らしい。室内は老朽化。CNN/BBCが衛星で入る。 Customs clearance was quite quickly and simply done on disembarkation. For an air ticket for Madrid, rush to an Iberia Airlines office proved to be useless because the office had been permanently closed. マドリードのアトーチャ駅の改札。駅ビルから駅の区域に入るところで荷物のエックス線検査がある。それでも、その後アトーチャ駅近くで列車が爆破される事件が起きた。 Ticket gates at Atocha train station, Madrid. アルヘシラス港のビルから見た駐車場の一部。駅から港の区域までは徒歩で10分もかからないが、駐車場等の港湾施設区域が広大なため、駐車場入り口に着いてから出入国管理事務所、切符売り場、出入国管理事務所等のあるビルにたどり着くまでに時間がかかる。 A part of the parking area of the Algeciras port.	ビルから船に乗るための通路だけでもかなり長い。 The corridors from the building to the boats are also very long.

アルヘシラス港からジブラルタルの半島が見える。 Gibraltar is seen from the port.	船は出発し、港湾施設を見ながら港の出口へと向かう。 After departure, the boat procedes to the exit of the port, seeing many facilities.
	すぐにアフリカが見えているが、船の向かうタンジェは、右斜め前方にあり、ジブラルタル海峡を西に進む。 Althoug Africa is seen soon, the port of Tangier to which the boat goes is in a western part of the Gibraltar Straints area while Algeciras is in an eastern part. Therefore the boat goes to the west in the Straints.
まだジブラルタルが見える。 Gibraltar is still seen.	スペイン側の丘の斜面には白っぽい風力発電設備が並んでいた。 Wind power stations were seen on Spanish hills.
タンジェが見えてくる。 Now Tangier is seen.	タンジェの港。逆行で写りが悪いが。 Tangier port.
