  ドゥラー川対岸から見たムハミドの集落。ドゥラー川は、ダーデス峡谷からワルザザート、ザゴラ、ムハミドを経て、大西洋まで延々と続く。しかし、流れが大西洋までとぎれることなく続くのは、流域に十分な降水のあった時だけで、前回大西洋まで流れが繋がったのはかなり前とのこと。 The village of M'hamid from the opposit side of the Oued Draa which flows, if the basin has much precipitation, from Gorges des Dades, through Ouarzazat, Zagora, M'hamid and all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. However, it was long time ago when the basin had sufficient precipitation that allows the river continuous to the Atlantic Ocean. |

 この辺りは、「砂漠」とは言っても、石や岩ばかりで(そのような場所をハマダ(hamadaまたはhammada)と言う。)、砂丘は珍しいので、こんな小さな砂山(写真右側)があるだけで、観光施設ができている。 The desert in this area is just stones and rocks (Such a area is called hamada or hammada.). Sand dunes are rare. Therefore such a small sand dune (in the right) attracts tourism facilities. |

 ドラー谷のヤシの林は、東のジズ谷(エル・ラシディアとエルフードの間)に比べてずっと巾が広かった。 The palm forests in the Draa Valley were much more extensive than those in the Ziz Valley in the east between Er Rachidia and Erfoud. |
