概況: 八幡平頂上の小屋に宿泊。初日は大沼まで往復。2日目、途中で宿泊の予定であったが、天気が下り坂となったため、スケーティングで走り、途中の山はほとんどトラバースして網張温泉の休暇村に降りて温泉に入る。そして、大曲から今は無き夜行の急行「津軽」で帰宅。

長い斜面がないからつまらないコースであるとも聞くが、ひとけのない地域で、それぞれが異なった形をしたピークと林を抜けて行くのも山スキーとして悪くはない。 ピークの形が色々であるために、自分の位置の確認もし易い。山小屋も、古くからよく整備されている。但し、霧、雨、雪等で視界の悪い時には踏み込まないほうがよいだろう。

After skiing to O-Numa, the first night was spent at the hut near the top of Hachimantai. On the second day, the original schedule to stay another night on the way was changed because of likely bad weather. Accordingly, most peaks were not reached and skating was the most frequently used way of skiing to Amihari Onsen.

Although it is said that this course is boaring because no significant slopes exist. However, the skiing in solitude through the peaks in different shapes and through forests was another fun. Because of the unique shapes of different peaks, it was easy to identify the course. Refugees are also well established and maintained. But be careful that fog or rain or snow may force the skier lose his/her way.
