概況: この年は、栂池スキー場から栂池湿原へのロープウェーに乗れたために時間が大幅に節約でき、しかも天候も良かったので、天狗原から白馬乗鞍岳に登った。いつもの振子沢経由を変更して白馬大池・天狗の庭経由で蓮華温泉に入ろうとしたが、コースが不明であり、白馬乗鞍岳頂上部左の急斜面の横断も危険なため、天狗原に戻り、振子沢から蓮華温泉に入った(温泉で田原さんに聞いたところ、白馬乗鞍は夏道を歩いて越えるとのこと。なお、早い時期であれば、夏道にも雪がついているとのこと。)。

Because we could take the rope way to Tsugaike Marsh, we saved much time this year. In addition, the weather was fine. Therefore we went to Hakuba Norikura Dake from Tenguppara. However, we gave up to go further to Renge Onsen through Hakuba O-ike and Tengu no Niwa because we had no exact information of the course and because we learned that passing through the top of the steep slope to the left of the mountain might not be safe. Accordingly we went back to Tenguppara to go down through Furiko-zawa. (We learned from Mr. Tawara that we should walk on the summer footpath on Hakuba Norikura Dake, on which there was no snow but there might be in early spring.)

ヤッホー平を過ぎたカーブからの雪倉岳 Yukikura Dake from the curve after Yahho Daira	角小屋峠からウド川源流部を見る。 コースは、右寄りに降りてウド川の開口部を避け、 その先のウド側右岸の長い斜面を 斜滑降気味に降りていく。 Riverhead of Udo Gawa from Kadokoya Pass. The skiing course turns to the right to avoid the open stream of the River. After the River, the course goes down on the right slope above the River.
