現在は良好なミレット畑として利用されている古砂丘、古砂丘の列の間の低地を利用した貯水池とその周辺の樹林等、自然条件を巧みに利用して生活が営まれています。 Gorom-GoromにあるCampement Hotelierは、泥の塀に沿ってコテージ風の部屋とレストラン・受け付けが中庭に面して並び、アカシアの木陰のある中には休憩所があります。コテージは、シャワーの床を除けば、ベッドまで泥でできていて、乾燥したこの地域の自然条件を最大限に活かした特色あるホテルです。 The life here is sophisticated, utilizing old sand dunes for cultivation of millet and the low and wet areas between the old sand dunes as reservoirs and woodlands. Campement Hotelier in Gorom-Gorom has cottages and a restaurant along the mud walls surrounding acacia shades and a tea shop in the center. The cottages are made of mud, even the beds with the only exception of the floor of the shower room. This is a splendid hotel fully utilizing the characteristics of the dry area.
